Puppy Kindergarten
Put your puppy on the right track, with this important and fun
class. This program consists of 5 sessions and is for puppies up
to 5 months of age. This period called the socialization is the
most critical time in the life of your dog! If positive training
and socialization occur now your dog is more likely to be
obedient, friendly and well behaved.
LESSONS
INCLUDE:
Socialization
– Exposing
the puppy to different people and dogs as well as a variety of
situations that he may encounter in his lifetime.
Good
Manners
– This is the
key to a happy, long-lasting relationship with your dog. We will
cover prevention and treatment of mouthing, jumping, barking,
chewing, housebreaking and other undesirable behaviors.
Handling
– Getting
your puppy to enjoy being touched, groomed and handled by the
veterinarian, having his nails clipped, ears cleaned and so on.
Training
– We
introduce the puppy to 7 commands of basic obedience: walking on
loose leash, coming when called, sit, down, stand and stay. We
use both verbal and hand signals. |
